Meet the Little Feet penguin on the ice. Move your mouse gently — the camera is alive.
This feature is being refined and optimized for the Little Feet V2.0 release. Version 1.0 keeps this preview static while development continues.
Record a parent-reported absence for the teaching team to follow up.
Leave a concise handover for the next educator or closing team.
Before children arrive: check the register, allergies, room safety, supplies, and the day’s timetable.
Before leaving: complete handovers, check pick-up records, record incidents, and secure learning spaces.
Please select a target user from the dropdown menu to load direct messages.
A live overview of campus presence, active emergency broadcasts, and acknowledgement activity. Exact incident locations remain restricted to authorised safety staff.
Request a meeting with a teacher or principal. A campus visitor pass is created only after the teacher agrees, you confirm the time, and the principal approves entry.
Teachers respond to their own requests. Parents confirm the agreed time. Principals then issue the QR visitor pass.
Scan a school-issued QR visitor ticket where your device supports it, or enter the pass code. Little Feet validates the pass with the server before recording entry.
A report becomes complete only after the teacher and linked parent have both signed it. Each signer uses their own PIN to prevent a child or unauthorised person signing.
Choose a separate four-digit-or-longer PIN for report signatures. Never share it with a child.
Select an awaiting report below, sign with your finger or mouse, and enter your signing PIN.
Parent signatureRecord the core enrolment and emergency information required before a learner is placed in a class.
Call a parent directly or copy the verified contact details into Microsoft Teams or another approved school communication tool. Teachers only see learners in their assigned classes.
Items shown are available for your school account and login role.
Create and manage accounts, assign their role, and link each one to a school. The school link controls that account’s School Store status.
Use only while diagnosing a problem. It records safe technical details such as error code, source file, and line number; it does not include learner records or passwords.
Trace Little Feet requests and faults from one place. Logs contain request IDs, account and school context, route, status, duration and outcome. Request bodies, passwords, PINs, session cookies and access tokens are not recorded.

Each printed handout carries a code tied to one learner. Administrators can issue, replace, or scrap an old code and review its status. Principals can print a prepared handout only.
Generate or retrieve the real active Little Feet code for a learner already registered at this school. Existing active codes are reused instead of silently invalidating a printed family form.
Upload a file with a Learner Name column and, where needed, a Grade / Class column. Little Feet matches each row to the real school learner register, generates any missing secure codes, and writes the code beside the learner in the downloaded file. Unknown or ambiguous names are marked instead of being guessed.
Loading learner code forms…
Bring an existing school register into Little Feet without manually recreating each learner. Upload an Excel or CSV export from the school system, review the detected rows, then confirm the import. Duplicate learner records are skipped and reported.
Supported formats: .xlsx, .xls, and .csv. Use column headings such as Learner Name, Grade/Class, Parent Name, Parent Email, Medical Notes, Emergency Contact, and Authorised Pickups.
For privacy, this portal does not send child records from a photo or PDF to a public AI service. Scan paper files into a spreadsheet using your school-approved OCR or scanner, then upload the reviewed Excel/CSV export here.
Every imported learner must be reviewed before submission. Medical, emergency-contact, and pickup details are encrypted when saved.
Records are matched by learner name, class/grade, and parent email. A duplicate does not overwrite the existing learner record; it is listed for review after the import.
Import a learner/parent spreadsheet exported from SA-SAMS into this school's real Little Feet learner register. Little Feet maps common learner name, surname, grade, register class and guardian contact columns, previews the result, then sends approved rows through the same bounded, tenant-isolated production import used by the learner register.
DBE documentation recognises third-party school systems through the LURITS Accredited Software System (LASS) pathway. Direct Little Feet → DBE/LURITS submission remains disabled until the current official third-party interface package and LASS conformance requirements are obtained, implemented and validated.
Established South African school platforms use a second practical route: generate a SA-SAMS-compatible database/export, validate it in SA-SAMS, complete Module 17 LURITS Approval, then continue through the applicable Valistractor / DDD / district or provincial submission process to LURITS.
Documented LURITS feedback is returned as XML files, commonly packaged in ZIP archives. The integration design tracks TransactionCategoryID, returned learner/educator LURITS numbers, validation results and submission errors so feedback can be matched back to the correct school records.
Set your monthly plan, learner add-on prices and profit margin, optional late-payment fee, and where approved schools pay.
Review the school-only price and create a payment request with the correct reference.
Create a parent invoice, record an approved later date or negotiated amount, and let the portal recalculate the live arrears balance after each payment.
Record a discount or subsidy decision below. Payroll and payment provider calculations remain subject to school approval.
Create a request record for a parent’s tax invoice pack. The finance team can then verify payment history before issuing it.
Loading subscription pricing…
Use this as the public learner-capacity guide. Tier names show a common fit, not an age restriction: a school should choose by learner capacity and the grades it actually offers.
| Package tier | Common fit | Included / ceiling | Monthly price | Extra learner rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Micro / ECD | Day care / ECD · Birth–4/5 · small Grade R or micro school | 30 included · paid overage up to 250 learners | R350 / month | R10 per learner / month above 30 |
| Standard Primary | Primary · typically Grades R–7 · approx. 5–13 years | 250 included · paid overage up to 1,000 learners | R1,500 / month | R6 per learner / month above 250 |
| Enterprise Campus | Large primary, secondary/high Grades 8–12, or combined school | Up to 1,000 learners | R7,500 / month | Flat package · no overage |
Administrators can review both product lines. Parents see this optional family plan; other school roles do not.
A clear launch path for each school before its subscription begins.
Import learner, family, class and approved school data; then review roles and consent records.
Use Little Feet with real school workflows for 14 days. When the trial ends, normal school access pauses until a school subscription is activated.
Confirm staff training, parent access and go-live checks together before inviting the full school community.
Commercial terms: 30-day money-back guarantee, 36-month agreement, cancellation and post-contract customisation fees are set in the signed school quotation. No fee or agreement is created by viewing this page.
Every balance is recalculated from the payment history. An approved later date or agreed amount is shown clearly and changes when a payment is recorded.
Record the condition and replacement price before handover, capture the administrator and parent signatures, and finish the year with a class return report.
Keep quick internal reminders, handovers and follow-ups in one place. Do not include medical, safeguarding or other sensitive learner information here.
Log the start or end of a shift. Geofenced payroll exports need a connected payroll provider and approved location policy.
Record the current classroom staffing ratio; review exceptions immediately with a supervisor.
Capture a daily learning activity and its developmental-standard link for classroom planning.
Log a parent or visitor request for a teacher or principal. The recipient can respond through Tickets and agree a new time if needed.
Record equipment, cleaning, or maintenance items that require attention.
Record an opening, age group, or waitlist follow-up for administration.
Record factual incident details and the parent-notification/sign-off status for the administrative record.
Log a medication event only after an authorised prescription and parent consent have been verified.
Choose a routine activity, then add the child or class. This saves a timestamped activity-feed record without a long note.
Open the existing Alerts area for urgent school notices, read receipts and current in-app broadcasts.
Record a fundraiser, tuckshop, ticket, permission slip or other community request for staff follow-up.
Teachers can send an item request to the school administration queue.
Record deliveries so stock is visible before items are issued to classes.
Administrators can review, action, or remove submitted operational records from the lists below.
Record a dated observation against motor, speech, social, or another framework area.
Use Worksheets for photo evidence, then add the developmental context here for the learner portfolio.
Create a report request from the observations and assessment records saved for a learner.
Capture a structured observation against the Department of Basic Education framework while keeping your existing milestone and portfolio records unchanged.
Milestones and evidence saved for learner portfolios.
Progress reports waiting to be prepared or reviewed.
Structured observations linked to the South African curriculum framework.
Use only for authorised school duties. Confirm school policy, parental authority, and the applicable POPIA/Children’s Act process before recording sensitive information.
Record separate choices for private class updates and optional marketing photography. No consent means no photo processing for that purpose.
Record the responsible adult and one-time verification code at handover. Codes are stored as one-way hashes, not readable text.
Record the certificate reference and expiry only after the school has completed the official NCPR process. Never treat this screen as a substitute for a government clearance.
Use Care & Safety to record the parent-authorisation reference, dosage, time, administering teacher, and witness. A separate school workflow must verify the approval before administration.
